History & Heritage
Founded as a settlement in 1868 by Henry D. Rice, the City of Doon has been thriving ever since. Located between the Rock and Little Rock Rivers, Doon is a peaceful community surrounded by the natural beauty of the rolling hills and rivers and streams.
Support Parks & Rec
Help support the Parks & Rec in Doon by purchasing a 2018 Doon Calendar. They may be purchased at R & L Foods or the City Office for $15. To have one mailed to you, contact Kristi Baker at the City Office at 726-9303. Office hours are Monday-Wednesday from 8:30-noon and 1-4. Cost for mailing one is $15 plus $4 shipping.
